I got this DA account years ago so that I could keep track of some favorite artists and writers. I mainly use Live Journal for blogging and for showcasing my creative projects (cosplay and fanfic, mostly).
I'm not much of an artist. There are a few old pictures I drew and colored on my personal website. But in my opinion, I make a better writer than artist!

My name is Shawny.
I'm Chinese-American, born and raised in San Francisco. I attended and then graduated UC Davis with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I love many things, but most especially I love my husband and my children.
I like a lot of anime. I've been watching it since I was a kid - and I don't intend to stop anytime soon! Now-a-days I don't have much time for anime, but I watch it when I can. I enjoy reading and writing fan fiction. I write on and off (mostly off; I went years without writing anything) whenever the mood hits me and if time permits. I dabble mostly, so my writing is probably a bit rusty. Real Life keeps me pretty busy! Occasionally, I cosplay.
Other things I like: eating, pasta, BBQ, sushi, Vienamese noodle soups, dim sum, cookies, iced tea, anime, reading, Dance Dance Revolution (DDR), anime conventions - Hmm... Notice how many of my likes involve food? ^^; I'm also interested in personal finance and accounting. I enjoy investing and watching my portfolio grow.
Dislikes: hot and humid weather, wet and frosty weather, radio commercials, so called "real" TV, plagiarism
Pet Peeves: People who mix up and misuse homophones. People who write in so called "Computer English" (sez, ur, frenz, etc). I'm good at English, so people who don't use the English language properly really, really annoy me!

The goal is to randomly select one word per day for seven days.  Each word will be used as a prompt for a NaruHina ficlet (500 words or less). She is inviting people - especially other lazy NaruHina writers like me -  to take the challenge with her.  She's hoping this will kick-start our muses and get us back in the writing habit.

Although, I wish they'd deleted the photos altogether, instead of hiding the photos. I can't see the photos in that person's gallery anymore. But. Even though the deviations are supposedly "not publicly
